WarezStasis is a personal IT resource built and maintained by a working sysadmin. It exists because too many solutions to niche IT problems live in forum replies from 2014, half-answered Stack Overflow threads, or someone's head — never written down.

The goal is simple: when I solve something hard, I write it up. When I find a tool that genuinely earns its place in my toolkit, I add it. No SEO filler, no affiliate links, no "10 best practices" listicles padded to 2,000 words.

What's covered

The focus is on the Microsoft stack in mid-market environments — the kind of setup where one IT team handles everything from IIS tuning to M365 administration to ERP integrations. That means a lot of Windows Server, Active Directory, Acumatica, SharePoint, SQL Server, and PowerShell.

KB articles tend to be write-ups of actual incidents: what broke, how it was diagnosed, what fixed it, and what to watch for next time. Tools listings are curated manually — if something's on here, it's because it's been used in production, not because it ranked well in a search.

How to use it

The Knowledge Base is organized by technology area and filterable by tag. If you're hitting a specific issue, search first (⌘K or Ctrl+K) — the index covers all article titles. The Tools page is organized by category and also filterable. Everything links directly to the source — no intermediate landing pages.

Contributing or corrections

If something here is wrong, outdated, or could be improved, the best way to reach out is directly. This isn't a community site, but corrections and additions from people who've been in the same trenches are always welcome.
